Pros and cons of being an instrumental punk rock band, the unnerving meaning of the band’s name, the amazingly good feedback got from the international press, funny memories from their recent European tour…

We’re broke 99% of the time, but that’s all we want to do our entire lives

Who: Tony Wright from As So I Watch You From Afar (Belfast)
Latest record: And So I Watch You From Afar (Smalltown America/Xtal, 2009)
Online: myspace.com/andsoiwatchyoufromafar
Our favourite video: a snapshot of their set at HWCH launch at Tower Records
Where we met: at HWCH launch
Why we like them: because they can get reeeaaally loud
Behind the scenes: as it was getting dark, we couldn’t film in the interview in the same place where an hour ago we had the ambience affair and angela dorgan. the only near place with a light on was the odessa, so we asked tony to stand in front of their door. needless to say, we ended up giving instruction to people on which bell to ring to get in the odessa.. :)
