OneMoreTune meets Ane Brun

How it all started during a summer as a busker in Barcelona, how it feels to win two Grammies, a brand new remix album, how her songwriting is changing, hopes for her own record label.

My songs have never been like diaries, it’s more like situations

Who: Ane Brun (Stocholm, Sweden)
Latest record:
Changing of the Seasons (DetErMine Records / V2 Music, 2008)
Online:
anebrun.com and myspace.com/anebrun
Our favourite video:
this amazing “elevator performance” with Nina Kinert
Where we met:
Crawdaddy
Why we like her: because she can play a concert all alone on stage for two hours, telling nice stories between songs and singing gracefully, and when it ends you feel like it was too short.

Behind the scenes: with Onemoretune.ie Ane had agreed on having an interview and a photo session but eventually, because there was not enough time to do them separately, we did everything together and the pictures were taken while she was answering our questions. If you listen carefully you can hear a couple of “clicks” in the video.
